Moment of the weekend: Wales respond to the Haka

This video is fantastic. Prior to the game between Wales and New Zealand on Saturday there had been rumours that Wales would respond to the Haka......and they did.

The Welsh lined up to face the Kiwis and as the Haka finishes, the whole Welsh team remain unmoved, staring at their opponents. There was then a stand off with both teams refusing to move.

The crowd were getting involved and the atmosphere was really building. Finally, when it looked like neither side would back down, the referee had to insist that the game started.

Good on Ryan Jones though, he wasn't going to budge first and in doing so the challenge was laid down.

Unfortunately in the game itself, well though the Welsh played, the ABs were just a bit too good and they won the game fairly easily

If your local pub team took on an international side, below is what would probably happen. Scoring a goal every 3 minutes, Australia whipped American Samoa 31-0. Below are the goals! I don't think Alan Hansen would be too impressed with some of the defending!

Goal of the weekend: Robinho

Arsenal are having a bit of a rough time of it at the moment. On Saturday they were well beaten by Manchester City 3-0.

With their now ex-skipper William Gallas publicly having a good moan about some of his team mates, Arsene Wenger has got a job on his hands to restore some spirit into this side.

It can't have helped Wenger when Robinho pulls this beautiful chip out of the bag at the weekend. It's a real cracker and very worthy of goal of the weekend.

Spotlight on: Darren Bent

Before the season started everyone was talking about how this would be Darren Bent's year. Defoe and Berbatov had headed off and he was left as the top striker at Spurs.

He scored a hatful in pre-season and he hasn now followed that up with 9 to date in the premiership. Spurs fans will be hoping he can continue his good form today against Blackburn. Let's hope he does better than last night when he missed a sitter playing for England. Here he is scoring a hattrick earlier this season:

Today's funny: Boo Weekly - the most ridiculous celebration of all time

It's never great to lose to the Americans but this must have been an awful sight for the Europeans to endure having just lost The Ryder Cup.

I can only assume that Boo Weekly is pretending to ride a horse! Make your own mind up:

Spotlight on: The South African Rugby Team

The Springboks are in town and play England today at Twickenham. There's been a lot of chat from their camp about them being tired at the end of a long season but I think this is all PR.

South Africa v England is always huge and today will be no different. As always they have picked a massively physical side with their engine room of Victor Matfield and Bakkie Botha at the heart of the scrum. If are England are to win, they have to compete at the lineout where Matfield and Botha are the best in the world. In the world cup final South Africa won all 13 of the lineouts and they stole 7 of ours. Ultimately this was the difference.

In particular England need to match up to the presence of Botha. He is the Springbok enforce, a bully on the pitch and the 2 English locks Steve Borthwick and Tom Palmer are going to have to up their agression from last week. Here is a look at Botha doing some typical bullying.

God knows how this came about. Here is a clip from 1996 of Peter Ebdon, complete with Ponytail, singing some ridiculous ballad.

Spotlight on: Schalk Burger

In my opinion, Schalk Burger joins Richie McCaw as the best 2 back row players in the world. He is a mountain of a man and possesses huge phsicality. He's the kind of player who can completely dominate a game and it's no surprise that he is a past winner of the IRB player of the year.

England will find it tough to nul his threat this afternoon at Twickenham and it's no coincidence that with Burger in the opposition, Martin Johnson has opted to play the massively physical James Haskell in the back row.

If England are going to get on top of SA, they'll have to smash Burger as Jerry Collins does in this clip:

Currently starring in I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, here is the inevitable Myleen Klass-esque footage of Nicola McLean showering in a bikini.

McLean is of course better known as a page 3 model and boyfriend of Peterborough defender Tommy Williams!

Today's funny: Monte Barrett trip jumping into the ring

You have to feel for Monte Barrett. Not only did he receive a battering from David haye on Saturday but he also managed to trip when getting into the ring. Attempting into jump impressively over the ropes he got his feet tangled up and ended up looking a little silly.....not that I'd say that to his face!
